Winner of the Tibor Reiter Versatile Vizsla Award for 2002. Like his sister Pele, Fire approaches everything with gusto. He has been a joy to train in all areas of show, field, agility and obedience, and placed in the top 5 in Canada in all these venues. Fire has sired several litters of handsome, well-balanced, happy, sweet natured pups. While the majority are in loving homes as family companions and hunting partners, several are making their mark in CKC, AKC and Aus. events. Up to Nov. '04 Fire has sired 7 Canadian Champions, 1 American Champion, 3 Field Dog Jr's. 1 Junior Hunter, 2 Companion Dogs (CD), 4 Temperament Tests (TT), 6 Canine Good Neighbors (CGN) and 1 Endurance Test (ET - Aus.) He is the Grandfather of 2 Australian Champions and 1 Canadian Champion, 1 TT and 1 CGN. Several more of his offspring are pointed in show, field, obedience and agility. CGC, FDJ May 29, 2002 - April 27, 2007 "Fila", Ch Piroska Runnin In The Red Can/Am CD CDX FDJ FD ASCA CD AGN AADC CGC TT VMJDC by "Toldi", MBISS Am/Can Ch Bajnok Dances With Falcons FD JH Son of Fila. Falco is working on his obedience titles. He is happy-natured and loveable, like all Vizslas. He is an absolute water-fanatic and takes every opportunity to play in his pool. Falco finished his Championship with a 5 pt. major taking Best Of Winners at the Vizsla Society of Ontario Booster in Ontario. At the U.S. Vizsla National Specialty he took 3rd place in the Puppy Sweeps in the 15-18 month old class out of 21 dogs AND 3rd place in the Open Dog class out of 22 dogs. He was the highest placing Canadian dog! Falco was shown in the U.S. and finished his American Championship with 4 straight 5 point majors as he turned 2 years of age. Falco won Awards of Merit (AOM) at Woodstock, Ontario in July 2004 at the Vizsla Canada Specialty and the Vizsla Society of Ontario Specialty. There was the largest entry ever of 68 Vizslas in each show that weekend! Falco has been trained and handled by Frank Lacko for his success in both Canadian and American show rings as well as in the field. Many, many thanks to both Frank and Martha. He has completed his Field Dog Junior title (FDJ) and is now working on his Field Dog and Obedience titles. He loves to play with all his Vizslas friends and is still a water fanatic. Destiny ruled that Falco leave us early in his life. But with a breeding earlier he left a legacy in a lovely litter with Am /Int Ch Dunantul Ruby Rozsa of Tiera JH "Ruby", owned by JoAnne and Ben Weldon of Oregon City, Or. AOM FDJ FD TT CGN CD d.o.b. December 24, 2002 "Pele" Ch Piroska's Good to Go, CD FD AGN AADC CGC by "Toldi" MBISS Am/Can Ch Bajnok Dances With Falcons, FD JH Son of Pele. Scanner completed his Canadian Championship at 10 months of age with limited showing, winning many Best of Breeds, two over top Can/Am Special, 5 Best Puppy in Groups, a Best Puppy In Show and a Group 4. He has since won multiple Best of Breed and Group placements including Groups 1 and 2 , also with limited showing in 2004. Scanner was #2 Vizsla in Canada in 2005, and #3 in 2005. Scanner won an Award of Merit (AOM), along with his half-brother Falco, at the Vizsla Canada Specialty in Woodstock, Ont. in July 2004 from a high entry of 68 Vizslas. He also took Best of Breed in the All Breed show held that same specialty weekend out of an entry of 47 Vizslas under respected Judge Jack Ireland. At his first U.S. Show in Oregon in September he took Best of Winners for a 5 pt. major under judge Mrs. Paula Hartinger. Scanner has inherited the good looks and love of life attitude of his mother, Pele, and father, Toldi. He is always a joy to have around, whether it is playing with his Vizsla pack, hunting for birds, swimming in the lake or snuggling on the couch. Scanner will be shown in the U.S. and begin his obedience and field careers in 2005. His brothers and sisters, Roka, Stryker, Rez, Betyar, and Jato have also made their marks in field and show rings with gusto as well as performing as awesome personal hunters!
